Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of ReviewTap AI (“ReviewTap,” “we,” “us”) by a business that creates an account (“Business Customer,” “you”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

The service

ReviewTap lets a Business Customer text or email their own customers (“End Users”) a link to a short flow where the End User can leave feedback and, if they choose, get help drafting a review. ReviewTap only ever drafts a starting point - the End User reviews, edits, and decides whether to post it, in their own words, under their own account. ReviewTap never posts a review automatically or on anyone's behalf, and never offers or implies a reward in exchange for a review.

Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account and business information
• You are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from your own customers before submitting their phone number to ReviewTap, and for complying with the TCPA and all other applicable telemarketing and messaging laws
• You must not submit a phone number for someone who has opted out or asked not to be contacted
• You are responsible for the accuracy of any service details, welcome message, or SMS template you configure

SMS terms

• Message frequency varies - typically one review request, up to one reminder, and an occasional referral message per completed job
• Message and data rates may apply
• An End User can reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
• Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase

Referral program

Any referral reward shown to an End User is entirely optional, and is defined and funded by the Business Customer, not by ReviewTap. ReviewTap only tracks referral links, clicks, and leads.

Subscription and billing

• Plans are billed monthly or annually and include a 14-day free trial - you won't be charged until the trial ends
• You can change plans or cancel at any time from your billing settings; there is no long-term contract
• Payments are processed by Stripe

Acceptable use

You may not use ReviewTap to send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited messages, to harass anyone, or to attempt to manipulate a review platform's policies (including by offering an incentive for a specific rating or by gating which customers are asked for a review based on their anticipated rating).

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ReviewTap is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered, that any End User will leave a review, or that a review platform will accept or keep a review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReviewTap is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including misuse of text messaging or violation of applicable consent requirements.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
