Privacy Policy

ReviewTap AI (“ReviewTap,” “we,” “us”) provides a dashboard and messaging service that helps local service businesses (“Business Customers”) request reviews and referrals from their own customers (“End Users”) by text message and email. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

From a Business Customer who signs up for ReviewTap:

• Name, email address, and password
• Business name, industry, phone number, and review platform links
• Billing information, processed directly by Stripe - we do not store card numbers

From a Business Customer's own End Users, entered by the Business Customer or the End User themselves:

• Name and phone number
• Details about the service performed and a star rating
• Any review text the End User drafts, edits, or submits through the review flow
• Referral link activity, and, if an End User accepts a referral, their name and phone number

How we use this information

• To send review-request, reminder, and referral text messages and emails that a Business Customer configures
• To generate an editable, AI-drafted starting point for a review, based only on the details an End User selects
• To operate the Business Customer's dashboard, team accounts, and activity log
• To process subscription payments and manage billing
• To detect abuse and keep the service secure and reliable

We do not sell End User phone numbers or personal information, and we do not use them for advertising.

Text messaging

• A phone number is only texted because a Business Customer submitted it to request a review, send a reminder, or send a referral invitation for that specific customer relationship
• Message frequency varies - typically one review request, up to one reminder, and an occasional referral message per completed job
• Message and data rates may apply
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help
• Opting out applies across all message types from that Business Customer

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run ReviewTap:

• Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage
• OpenAI - generating the editable review draft text
• Our SMS provider - delivering text messages
• Resend - delivering account and notification emails
• Stripe - processing subscription payments

Data retention

We retain account and activity data for as long as a Business Customer's account is active. A Business Customer can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's privacy

ReviewTap is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

To access, correct, or delete your information - or to stop receiving text messages from a Business Customer - contact us at hello@reviewtap.ai, or reply STOP to any text message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
